Eastside Shopgirl - Personal Brand Identity & Apparel Production

Eastside Shopgirl is a personal craft fair brand born from my own upbringing on the Eastside of San Jose — the name and the ornamental monogram mark are both a direct nod to that neighborhood and identity. The monogram, an ornate, wrought-iron-inspired lockup, was designed to echo the decorative ironwork found on my childhood home, grounding the brand visually in a real place rather than an abstract concept. The wordmark, by contrast, carries a bolder, hand-drawn energy — playful and approachable, balancing the monogram's formality.

The identity was carried through to physical production across two methods: embroidered apparel for a refined finish, and hand screen-printed apparel, executed start-to-finish, including screen burning, registration, and press setup, for a more casual, accessible price point.

Role: Founder & Designer — brand identity, logo, apparel production
Deliverables: Monogram mark, wordmark, embroidered apparel, screen-printed apparel
Skills demonstrated: Brand storytelling, logo/monogram design, typography, apparel production (embroidery + screen printing), independent brand ownership start to finish

Mother's Day Campaign - Mariners Church

Designed a Mother's Day campaign for Mariners Church, including a primary social/print graphic and an in-person photo experience for the event itself. The main graphic pairs a soft, editorial color palette (blush pink, warm neutrals) with a mixed-media approach, layering a photographic portrait into a framed, collaged composition alongside an oversized floral element. The typography leans playful-elegant, balancing a script-style headline with clean, spaced-out supporting type for a modern, greeting-card-adjacent feel.

The campaign extended beyond the graphic into a physical event experience: a floral photo backdrop and printed signage (including a scripture-based sign carried through the space) gave attendees a designed, photographable moment — connecting the digital campaign visual to something guests could physically participate in and share.

Role: Graphic Designer - campaign design, event signage, photo direction
Deliverables: Primary campaign graphic (social/print), event backdrop design, printed signage
Skills demonstrated: Campaign design, color/typography for seasonal moments, translating a digital concept into a physical event experience

Cat Shield by MillerCat - Brand Campaign & Collateral

Developed a multi-format marketing campaign for Cat Shield, an anti-theft catalytic converter shield company by MillerCat, spanning print collateral, environmental signage, and custom illustration. The work required translating a technical, security-focused product into visual language that felt approachable and trustworthy — without losing credibility on the technical claims (tamper-proof, rust-resistant, CARB compliant).

Deliverables included a tri-fold brochure breaking down product features and certifications, a large-format event banner for in-person promotion, and a custom illustration set — including a garage/vehicle icon and a flat-style parking lot illustration — used to visualize the product's real-world context and value (protecting a vehicle, deterring theft) in a way photography couldn't.

Early concept sketches, developed by hand before moving to digital, guided the direction of the garage illustration, grounding the icon system in a clear narrative concept ("Cat Shield Protected") before final execution.

Role: Graphic Designer - brand collateral & illustration
Deliverables: Tri-fold brochure, event banner, custom icon/illustration set
Skills demonstrated: Print production, illustration, concept development, translating technical product features into accessible visual storytelling
